Royal Arcade Melbourne

When in Melbourne many tourists go to the Royal Arcade.  Do so!  Make sure that you also check out the Royal Court section.  You can enter either via Collins St and proceed through the bag shop.  Make sure that you look up to see how they have protected the beautiful ceilings. 

If you enter via the Royal Arcade from Collins St you will turn left and have three options to:

1. Turn right into the Royal Arcade Laneway
2. Go straight ahead through the Royal Arcade to Elizabeth, or
3. Turn left to the Royal Court section.

Make sure you do all of the above, but more so do not miss out on the Royal Court section.  When you turn left there is another narrow laneway to the right and that is where you can see the magnificent "Royal Court" sign

Notice that the Royal Arcade has a mosaic tile entrance.

What do you notice about the Royal Court signage at the entrance on the ground?  It took me a moment to consider the difference.
